मैले समय–समयमा दोहोर्‍याएर पढ्ने उपन्यासमध्ये एक हो Mary Shelley को Frankenstein। हरेक पटक पढ्दा यसले कुनै न कुनै नयाँ अनुभूति गराउँछ ।

जीवनमा संघर्षको अन्त्य हुँदैन। संघर्ष समाप्त भएको दिन त जीवनकै अन्त्य हुने हो। समयसँगै संघर्षका रूप मात्र फेरिँदै जान्छन्। केही संघर्षहरू विजयपछि आनन्द र सन्तुष्टिमा परिणत हुन्छन्; तर केही यस्ता पनि हुन्छन्, जसमा विजय प्राप्त गरे पनि त्यसले हारभन्दा गहिरो पीडा दिन्छ। Frankenstein त्यस्तै विडम्बनापूर्ण creation को एक जीवन्त उदाहरण हो।
