Beware of claims about being "the biggest." Avoid the "Taco Bell" law firms. Personal injury claims require personal attention to the claim. Don't just be a name on a callback slip.

A couple of years ago I was interviewed on the news about the problem with homeless in Downtown Louisville. The problem has gotten better, but there is still a lot to do. I believe the probem is really a problem with enforcement of our drug laws and mental health issues that are not being properly addressed. IMHO

How long does one have to file a claim arising out of a motorcycle accident in Kentucky? For a car wreck it's two years from the date of the wreck or two years from the last payment of basic reparations benefits--whichever is later.

However, for a motorcycle collision it's one year from the date of the accident. . . .period. This is a loophole that works in favor of the insurance companies and is sort of hidden trap for inexperienced attorneys and claimants. If you had a motorcycle collision in Kentucky your deadlines are short.

Kentucky revised statute 189.030

Time when lights must be on.

(1) Headlamps, when required on a vehicle, shall be illuminated:
(a) During the period from one-half (1/2) hour after sunset to one-half (1/2) hour
before sunrise; and
(b) At such other times as atmospheric conditions render visibility as low as or
lower than is ordinarily the case during that period.
(2) Provisions as to distances that lights must be visible refer to visibility under
ordinary atmospheric conditions.

I see a lot of folks who don’t turn on their lights during the rain. Do it. It makes it safer for everybody.
