🎖️ From the decks of U.S. Navy ships to the courtrooms of Tennessee and Mississippi, Edd Peyton (Memphis Office) has built a career defined by leadership, discipline, and service.
We are proud to spotlight Edd, whose distinguished journey reflects the strength and dedication that guide our team at Spicer Rudstrom.
A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Edd earned all-league honors as a tight end and was inducted into the Naval Academy Athletic Association Hall of Fame. He was commissioned as a Navy officer, leading engineering and ordnance departments aboard ships and serving on multiple fleet staffs. Along the way, he earned his MBA from Jacksonville University before pursuing his law degree at the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served on the Moot Court Board and won numerous mock trial and appellate competitions.
Edd focuses his practice on:
· Civil litigation and personal injury defense
· Premises, auto, and property liability
· Commercial defective products and insurance defense
· Landlord tenant and property disputes
He is also a Tennessee Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator.

Attorney Jared Renfroe (Memphis) joined Brendon De Souza and Jeff Stinson for Beyond Thresholds: CMS's 2025 Medicare Set-Aside Reporting Requirements — and attorney Isaac Westling (Knoxville) was also there representing the firm.
The bottom line from the session: CMS's Section 111 expansion now requires WCMSA reporting on all settlements involving Medicare beneficiaries, regardless of amount. ⏳ Early preparation and stronger compliance workflows aren't optional anymore — they're how you protect settlements and keep cases moving.

Recently, attorneys from the Memphis office of Spicer Rudstrom, PLLC volunteered their time and expertise at the free Second Saturday Legal Advice Clinic.
This walk-in clinic provides critical support to community members who might otherwise struggle to secure representation.
We want to extend our sincere appreciation to Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc.rea Legal Services (MALS) and the Memphis Bar Association (MBA). For nearly 20 years, their partnership has made this essential monthly service possible for our community.
The clinic is incredibly welcoming for volunteers of all backgrounds. Thanks to the dedicated MALS staff, participating lawyers receive excellent guidance and resources, making the program accessible and comfortable for attorneys at any experience level.
We encourage other local legal professionals to support this vital initiative.

👏 We welcome our newest attorney in the Memphis office, Brennan Liddle.
Brennan focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and general litigation defense. She brings a deep commitment to client advocacy and is fully licensed to practice in Tennessee and Arkansas.
Brennan built a strong foundation with a bachelor's degree in criminology from Mississippi State University. ⚖️ She then earned her J.D. and a specialized certificate in Health Law from the University of Memphis The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Her unwavering dedication to community service earned her the prestigious Memphis Bar Association Irvin Bogatin Social Justice and Service Award.
Before joining our firm, Brennan dedicated her talents to public interest law. Most recently, she served as a Medical-Legal Partnership Attorney at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. In this role, she fiercely advocated for patients and their families as they navigated complex civil issues. This diverse background gives her a highly specialized perspective when handling medical-related legal challenges for our clients.
We are incredibly excited to see the positive impact Brennan Liddle will make at our firm and throughout the Memphis community.
