A ruling from the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is giving that impression that it's wrong for a person involved in a car crash to draw a gun, point it at the head of the other driver, and order him to lie on the ground.

"This case is important because now everywhere in the country in the future, attorneys can point to this case and see when you pull a gun and point it at a teenager who is unarmed and cooperative and you don't have any justification for doing so, then that's unconstitutional," said Vanderhoef's attorney, Van Irion.

When a bystander intervened, the officer said, "Shut up, mind your own business, and get back in your car." At the time, the kids were 14, 16 and 17.
