The Battle of the Bands has amassed way more votes than we anticipated. The numbers are growing dramatically; literally by the second. With so many time stamps, we've decided to see what the raw number of votes are compared to the verified votes.

In this graph, you will see two colors representing the total vote count. The orange bar is considered the raw/rapid fire votes. Those are the votes that count, and will be used to determine the final winners. The blue bar is considered verified votes without back-to-back tallies from the same ip address. The blue bar will not be considered when the voting polls close.

What we have found is that no matter if it is rapid fire, or verified votes, that the standings does not change. We are currently sitting over 100,000 votes, and the Google Spreadsheet will no longer keep up with the votes coming in. However, we can still see each submission that comes in. We will keep a close eye on this while we make adjustments to our Google Spreadsheet.

This may require a new QR Code and voting link. If this the case, we will have it updated by Thursday, September 3rd. In the meantime, continue to vote......your favorite band is counting on you.
