We are excited to welcome Caroline Petty-Kane as our newest intern at Smoky Mountain Legacy Partners, PLLC.

Caroline is a J.D. Candidate at the University of Tennessee’s Winston College of Law with a strong academic foundation in environmental studies, public policy, and philosophy. Her research experience spans projects at the intersection of politics, environmentalism, and data analysis—including recent work studying data center growth in Northern Virginia.

Beyond her academic accomplishments, Caroline brings a heart for service. She has spent time as a camp counselor for children with chronic health conditions, helping them experience the outdoors in meaningful and accessible ways. Her passion for environmental justice and accessibility aligns beautifully with our firm’s commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities and the families who love them.

We’re thrilled to have her on our team as she continues her journey in advocacy, inclusion, and meaningful impact.
