We are delighted to welcome our Summer Associates as they begin our intensive 10-week internship program at our Chicago and St. Louis offices!

Our program is designed to allow the summer associates to explore different practice areas, interface with associates and partners in a collaborative environment, attend hearings and depositions, and further develop their skills in advance of a career in law.

In addition, the program plans a series of social events around the city to allow the Summer Associates an opportunity to get to know the culture of Swanson Martin & Bell outside of the office.

SMB’s St. Louis office recently participated in the St. Louis Biz Dash 5K, joining businesses and organizations from across the region for an evening focused on health, wellness, and team camaraderie.

Known as “St. Louis’ Healthiest Happy Hour,” the Biz Dash brings the local business community together through a run/walk supporting the St. Louis Sports Foundation and its community initiatives.

Last week SMB sponsored the Lincoln Park Community Services(LPCS) 2026 Metamorphosis: An Enchanted Evening Gala, which took place on Friday, May 8.

The evening celebrated dedicated volunteers, recognized individuals who have overcome homelessness and achieved stability and self-sufficiency and helped raise continued support for LPCS programs and services.
