Excited to be speaking alongside two powerhouses in international arbitration,Sarah Reynolds, FCIArb and Harsh*tha Ram, Esq., FCIArb on February 8, 2024 at the Illinois State Bar Association’s webinar “Contemporary Topics in International Arbitration”.

The webinar is presented by the ISBA’s Immigration and International Law Section, of which I am proud to be Vice Chair, and will be coordinated by Angela Peters, my colleague at the Immigration & International Law Section.

The February 8 webinar is the first in a series of four on International Commercial Arbitration that the ISBA and the Immigration and International Law Section will be presenting throughout 2024 and Harsh*tha, Sarah and I will be speaking at each of them.

Kochhar & Co. acted for and advised Power Finance Corporation Ltd. (PFC) in connection with financial assistance totaling INR 1,013.38 Crores to one of entities promoted by Vibrant Energy Holdings Private Limited, a subsidiary of Macquarie Asset Management’s Green Investment Group, for its wind-solar hybrid project with an aggregate capacity of 209.4 MW/259.8 MWp (comprising a wind project with a capacity of 104.4 MW and a solar project with a capacity of 105 MW/155.4 MWp) located in Karnataka (“Project”).
The Project is considered one of the largest wind-solar hybrid corporate power purchase agreements (PPA) by a technology company in India, and the deal stands as one of the largest project financing deals in India’s renewables sector this year.

The Transaction was led by Kochhar Delhi, Projects and Finance Partner, Ms. Parul Verma, and supported by Senior Associate, Mr. Swapnil Sant, and Associate, Mr. Harshil Kakkar.
