Meet Winny.

We donated a cookout for 40 to a House for a Home fundraiser last November and our contribution raised $6,200. We don't always get to see where the donations end up but today we did, and we couldn't keep it to ourselves.

The charity shared this about Winny from their team on the ground in Kenya:

"The beneficiary name is Winny Akinyi. A widow blessed with 4 children namely Vincent 16 yr, Kevin 14 yrs, Rose 8yrs and Fidel 7 yrs old. Winny lost her husband a month ago and the husband body is still in the mortuary. The family has been staying on Awasi market center where they do small business to earn a living. Winny is very much thankful to you all, for donating to her a house more so at this time of their trials."

We are so grateful we got to be a small part of this.
