Today marks 15 years since I've been licensed to practice law. There have been too many lessons (in both law and life) learned along the way to count. Whether good, bad, or indifferent, I am thankful for all of them because I would not be who or where I am today without them.
To say that this year has brought some changes is an understatement. Thank you to all who have reached out, listened, or provided encouragement and support as I continue on this new professional path. I realize you did not have to do any of that and I appreciate it more than you'll ever know. Though it seems like I built the plane mid-flight, there is no better feeling than the absolute freedom of truly being your own boss (and as a true solo in every sense of the word - billing department, IT department, office manager, janitor, etc).
Although I might be a little biased, I feel like I've built a pretty damn fine plane. Onward and upward, and here's to another 15 years of lawyerin' (with no haircut or real job in sight)…
