Attorneys Sarah Klein and Eric W. Schoenberg are demanding immediate transparency and accountability from BrightPath, including a full accounting of any prior complaints, a clear timeline of events, and an explanation of the safeguards that were in place to protect children.
“We have spoken to over fifty families at this point and are working to ensure they get answers about the full scope of what occurred while insisting on accountability,” said attorney Sarah Klein. “Parents entrusted their very young children to this facility with the expectation of safety. That trust was broken, and these families were failed.”
Klein also urged parents with concerns to come forward. “Even if a parent is unsure whether their child was harmed, that uncertainty is not insignificant,” Klein said. “Patterns of abuse are often uncovered when families come forward collectively.”
Schoenberg emphasized that many families may never have definitive answers given the age of the children involved. “Families are left sad, angry, overwhelmed, and searching for answers,” he said. “That is where we come in. Transparency from BrightPath is not optional—it is the minimum owed to these families.”
Klein and Schoenberg expect additional warrants to be issued as the investigation continues.
