Four speakers. Four perspectives. One unforgettable sendoff for the Temple Law Class of 2026. 🎓
Swipe through to hear from some of the ceremony’s principal speakers:
• Interim Kean Family Dean Kristen Murray, whose message to graduates, “I see you, all of you,” reflected on the late nights, early mornings, challenges, triumphs, and moments that shaped their law school experience, pledging that those moments will serve them well throughout their legal careers.
• Evening Division Speaker Nebi Mema, winner of the Tax Notes Annual Student Writing Competition, reflected on the importance of understanding one another across differences, recognizing that disagreement is not always about who is right or wrong, but can stem from different values, and encouraged graduates to seek common ground.
• Daytime Division Speaker Marco Granston, who received top honors as a member of the Temple Rosner National Trial Team, challenged graduates to meet the moment and remember that their responsibility extends beyond the practice of law, reminding his classmates, “The law at its best is not just rules and procedures, it is, at its core, about recognizing and appreciating human dignity.”
• Commencement Speaker, The Hon. Mitchell S. Goldberg, retired United States District Judge and former Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, reflected on the challenges facing the legal profession while expressing confidence that Temple Law graduates have never been in a better position to succeed than at this moment.
Congratulations again to the Class of 2026.
