Effective immediately, the City of Hendersonville, TN Fire Department has issued a burn ban.

Due to continued high temperatures and an increase in the drought index we will not issuing new burn permits. All previously issued burn permits are revoked.

Burning of any kind is not permitted. This includes residential fire pits, campfires, bonfires, or burning of any yard debris.

Conditions will be monitored and the burn ban will remain in effect until lifted by the Fire Marshal or Fire Chief.
