What the concept of justice must always maintain is the concepts of proportionality. This protestor has a Constitutional right to protest. In fact, I would say, in this country, he has a duty to protest!
Throwing a sandwhich at anyone, a police officer, Ice officer, Maga supporter, Stephen Miller, was and is wrong. In many ways indefensible. But to use the massive weight of the prosecutorial arm of the federal government to punish him, was akin to using a tactical nuclear weapon to swat a gnat.
This is but another example of when juries get it right, when they use their Constitutional and Democratic powers to mandate and instruct proportionally and perspective to power. This is what a Democratic Country is suppose to be like, it is how all of us are suppose to,process, and respond. It was a good day for justice yesterday…

Jurors showed no appetite for the Justice Department's case against "sandwich guy," the D.C. resident who chucked a Subway sandwich at the chest of a federal officer, finding him not guilty on Thursday after several hours of deliberations.

Sean Dunn, a former Justice Department paralegal, faced a single misdemeanor count after a federal grand jury rejected more serious charges over the incident, which took place in August.

Images of Dunn became a symbol of resistance to the Trump administration in Washington, with murals popping up on walls depicting a man throwing a sandwich, and with people placing sandwiches in the hands of giant skeletons for Halloween.
