Hurley Elder Care Law welcomes Destiny Stokes, LMSW and Janie Schwartz to our team!

Destiny Stokes, LMSW, Care Coordinator
Destiny earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2023 and her Master of Social Work in 2025, both from Kennesaw State University.

During her graduate studies, Destiny developed a passion for working with older adults. She volunteered with hospice patients in nursing homes, gaining firsthand insight into the emotional challenges and difficult transitions many older adults experience. These experiences reinforced her desire to advocate for individuals and families as they navigate changes in care, living arrangements, and independence.

Janie Schwartz, Administrative Assistant

Janie brings extensive experience in event coordination, customer service, and guest relations. Her background includes event management, logistics coordination, and delivering positive experiences for clients and guests.

Known for her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail, Janie enjoys making people feel welcome and comfortable. She takes pride in being the first smiling face clients see upon arrival and in helping create a supportive, welcoming environment for individuals and families.
