The Hurley Elder Care Law team is bringing a few vogue vibes to Cherokee County!

We are excited to share that Hurley Elder Care Law and Jennifer Ghorley, JD, CELA, were voted Best Elder Care Law firm of Cherokee County!🏆

The team has been caught on camera doing some “light reading”, and by reading, we mean flipping through the new Best of Cherokee magazine to spot our attorneys’ faces and celebrate them.

This morning, Joanna and Kim were honored to present Continuing Education to the Atlanta chapter of the Aging Life Care Association Southeast Chapter (ALCA) on “Helping Those Who Cannot or Will Not Help Themselves: Ethical Challenges for Healthcare Professionals.”

The discussion, engagement, and thoughtful questions could have continued all day. A special thank you to The Piedmont at Buckhead - SRG Senior Living for hosting us with a delicious breakfast in such a beautiful community setting.

We also want to wish all Aging Life Care Managers a very happy Aging Life Care Manager Month. Thank you for the compassionate and meaningful work you do every day.

Last night’s ACAP North Atlanta program, “Hard Decisions, Clear Guidance: Navigating Guardianship and Conservatorship,” brought together caregivers and community members for an informative and compassionate discussion led by Sean Hickey, JD of Hurley Elder Care Law.

Sean shared valuable guidance on when guardianship or conservatorship may be necessary, what families can expect throughout the process, and the importance of planning ahead during difficult transitions.

Our own Kim Lewis proudly serves on the leadership committee for ACAP North Atlanta, and Hurley Elder Care Law has been honored to support this incredible nonprofit as a core sponsor since its beginning more than four years ago. Mother’s Day was filled with love and laughter for many of our Hurley Elder Care Law team members. From family gatherings and special outings to celebrating new motherhood and bringing multiple generations together, Nola, Meagan, Kim, Jennifer, Chrisma, and Ali each spent the day making cherished memories.
