HB 999 – court updates
Raises the maximum amount for cases in Georgia courts from $15,000 to $25,000 and updates court procedures. (One section takes effect Jan. 1, 2027.)

🍑 protection HB 1112 – Cash rounding law | Creates rules for cash if the U.S. stops using . Businesses must accept exact change if offered, and sales tax must be calculated before any rounding occurs. (This only applies if pennies are discontinued.)

🍑 HB 1097 – Caregiver background checks Requires and registry checks for and at facilities serving , older adults and people with .

🍑 HB 1129 – Enterprise zone updates
Revises rules governing local enterprise zones, including incentives and requirements.

🍑HB 1470 – accessibility
Creates legal remedies aimed at discouraging abusive lawsuits over website accessibility claims while encouraging businesses to correct issues.

🍑SB 447 – transparency
Requires to provide real-time online updates on the status of building permit applications.

🍑 Employment HB 1118 – Paid leave
Provides eligible state employees with 120 hours of paid after childbirth and protects them from for taking the leave.

“🌄I plan to try to get outside to “enjoy” at least 1-2x a day. Running to and from appointments doesn’t count. Sometimes letting the dogs out helps if I tell myself to enjoy the elements and perhaps stay outside a bit longer after letting them in. Mindfullness is simple but it isn’t easy. I’ve tried to make it a routine for sunsets now that the days are longer and warmer it’s easier for my schedule and some solo lunches through the week.

🐦‍⬛🌸🪻Tonight as I enjoy the and all the “something(s) pretty” nature has given me in the backyard, it’s such a satisfying wind down of a lovely weekend and the birds are just as active singing such lovely songs getting ready for bed. There is a slight breaze that is a welcome reprieve of the heat of the day, and fragrance of freshly planted flowers in the air (before the deer inevitably eat them).

🛟🕯️I hope you all are taking a moment to yourself to enjoy what you have NOT accomplished with your time off over the weekend, and that you do not face any . Sometimes, it’s what you don’t do that helps you reset and rest. Happy Sunday Sunset, y’all!

1💡🔐In all seriousness, refers to the destruction or alteration of that a party has a duty to preserve in the system’s pursuit of truth through
2💡🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🤫 made a strange 20 years ago in some areas for middle schoolers trying to find a thier parents “didn’t use and wouldn’t think to look.” It still doesn’t hurt to include it
3💡📚Maybe it’s back in the top rankings again for or Google app stores …maybe this list hasn’t been updated in a while by those in the know
4💡🧹📲☎️🎥If you are a lawyer that hasn’dt updated yours in a while, that’s always a good place to check for updates on which apps to include on these as well as Microsoft
