Buying a property cash? No bond doesn’t mean no conveyancer. 🏡⚖️

Paying the purchase price and getting the keys doesn’t make you the registered owner. Ownership of immovable property passes when the transfer is registered in the Deeds Office.

A cash purchase may remove the bond registration process, but the property still needs to go through the transfer process.

Simply put: cash buys the property, registration makes you the owner.
