The Wood Lane - Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities (WCBDD) is local government agency that works to educate, empower, and support individuals, families, and
caregivers.

Their first session of a new educational series, Roadmap to Resources, will take place on April 15, 2026. We are honored to be a part of their project! Our very own Attorney Laura Wilson will provide valuable insight into Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).

Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of the differences
between SSI and SSDI, eligibility requirements for both children and adults, and when is right time is to apply. Other topics of interest will include the resource limits that impact benefits, common reasons applications are denied, and what steps to take after receiving a denial.
