Hutchens Law Firm Helps Secure a Historic $600M Settlement for North Carolina Communities Impacted by PFAS Contamination.

North Carolina has reached a nearly $600 million agreement with DuPont, Chemours, and Corteva — the largest environmental damage payment in state history — over decades of PFAS contamination affecting the Cape Fear River and drinking water for more than 500,000 North Carolinians. $380 million will be divided among 11 counties to fund water-system improvements.
