Real estate closings are a collaborative event. A closing cannot take place without a good team of realtors, lenders, clients, and legal staff all working in unison towards the same goal. Nearly five weeks ago South Carolina government offices were closed with counties eventually providing limited access to public records due to the pandemic, a recipe to cripple transactions. Contrary to that assumption, our firm – with the help of real estate agents, loan officers, clients, and our staff – continued to close real estate purchases, sales and refinances in Horry, Georgetown, and Charleston counties. The credit goes to this team effort and the collegiality at a time of crisis and we thank you.
