While many of you may be familiar with our mediations, trainings, and other programs at NCRC, today we wanted to spotlight one area of our work making a difference in San Diego County schools.

Anais Rivera has been with NCRC for 4 years, and during that time has helped support restorative practices throughout the Oceanside Unified School District.

Watch this video to hear more from Anais and learn about the work happening in local schools.

On Saturday, May 2, we hosted our annual Peacemaker Awards Dinner!

We were honored to recognize Dr. Bernice King (Be A King), CEO of The King Center and youngest daughter of MLK Jr., Jorge Castillo, and Jack McGrory during this special evening.

After Peacemaker, we started thinking: what makes a Peacemaker? In this table discussion, NCRC’s Ashley Virtue and Steven Dinkin reflect on past and present NCRC Peacemakers and explore what peacemaking looks like in today’s world.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Peacemaker!
