CowanGates is seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Midlothian, Virginia. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Work Location: In person – Midlothian, VA.
Key Responsibilities
• Post deposits and manage daily banking transactions
• Print checks for paralegals
• Reconcile financial accounts and prepare reports
• Approve outgoing real estate wires
• Manage positive pay and banking exceptions
• Serve as backup support for the receptionist and accounts specialist when needed
• Close files, purge records, and scan documents into ProLaw
• Assist the Firm Administrator with administrative support
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
• Previous Administrative/Accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational/time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Experience with ProLaw a plus!
