I wish that all the body cam videos I received were as crisp and understandable as this one out of Gwinnett, GA. On the flip side, as a Braves fan I wish this hadn't of happened.

The Norcross Police Department released video of officers arresting Atlanta Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna for DUI. In the video, Ozuna can be heard telling the officer "sorry, sorry, I'm Ozuna from the Braves."

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all traffic cases charged under Title 46.2, scheduled to be heard in Henrico General District Court from Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 through Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 will be continued.

All criminal felonies and criminal misdemeanors, including driving under the influence, will go forward as scheduled.

Court personnel will update Virginia's Judicial System website with new court dates as soon as possible. Individuals who are unable to determine their new court date or who do not receive a notice in the mail are asked to call the General District Court Clerk’s Office at (804) 501-4723.

There is a lot of truth in this article. It would be important to note that criminal defense attorneys also act as a check on the government to make sure that citizens' constitutional rights are protected - not just those of the current client, but those of citizens who may be harmed by the same kind of unconstitutional or unlawful governmental acts in the future.

Criminal defense lawyers are often criticized for the alleged – or real -- sins of their clients.

I find it hard to believe that it only took 20 minutes to arrest her, take her to the station, conduct the breathalyzer test (which typically requires a 20 minute waiting period), and process her before she is back on the road. Very surprising that a magistrate would allow her back out so quickly as well, particularly when minors were in the car.
