What an incredible night celebrating the Virginia Law Foundation's 50th Anniversary at The Justice Resounding Gala! It was an honor to gather with so many esteemed colleagues and friends at The Jefferson Hotel. The evening showcased a memorable performance by Yo-Yo Ma and inspiring keynotes, marking a momentous occasion. We celebrated our accomplishments and set two clear goals: to enhance our impact by promoting access to justice and the rule of law, and to establish a national platform for innovative legal education. Here's to the next 50 years!

Quinn Law Centers was honored to be the Girl Scout Sponsor at the Women of Excellence Empowerment Gala hosted by NAWBO Richmond on May 16, 2024! 🎉 Four outstanding girls - Leann, Kayleigh, Christa, and Serenity - were honored for their exceptional cookie sales and were accompanied by their proud mothers. 🌟 At our table, we were joined by Colleen Quinn, QLC intern Madeline Gore, paralegal Alexis Nelson, Mr. Scott Merithew from Ernst & Young, Dawn DeBoer of DeBoer & South (and NAWBO Foundation Chair), and Sylvia Buffington-Lester, Alice Lynch and Sheila Johnston from the Girl Scouts of the Commonwealth of Virginia. What a great partnership!! My former boss Chief Justice Harry Carrico would be so proud and honored!

Today, the Carrico Center partnered with the Virginia Equality Bar Association to train law students and attorneys who will be helping members of the trans community through the Pro Bono Name and Gender Marker Change Clinic. So wonderful to see our students volunteering side by side with tremendous pro bono attorneys, including many inspirational alums - like the clinic’s coordinators, Alex Lydon (L’15) and Bary Hausrath (L’06).
