FRAUDSTERS LOVE LONG WEEKENDS

When banks and businesses are closed for three consecutive days, it can take longer to detect fraudulent activity, reverse transactions, or reach the people needed to stop a scam.

Criminals know this and often increase their efforts right before holiday weekends.

Today would be an example.

Please share this reminder with real estate buyers, sellers, and anyone who may be wiring funds.

Most importantly: NEVER TRUST EMAILED WIRING INSTRUCTIONS AND ALWAYS VERIFY USING A KNOWN PHONE NUMBER (NOT the number in the email signature with the instructions).

Amy – The Finalizer

In honor of Employee Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating the people who help our team finish strong.

Three cheers for Amy, our Finalizer.

As our post-closer, Amy is the one who brings every transaction to its true finish. She reviews the completed file, communicates with everyone involved, and makes sure every document and detail is exactly how it should be before the file is officially closed.

Amy has an incredible eye for detail and takes her responsibility seriously. If something needs clarification, confirmation, or one more check, Amy is on it.

She’s also known for moving with lightning speed when it comes to recording deeds — making sure documents get on record quickly so she can send out the 💰 !

Thoughtful, thorough, and incredibly dedicated to doing things the right way, Amy makes sure every closing ends exactly as it should: complete, accurate, and officially finished. If it’s getting close to 5, watch out…Amy is likely en route to get overnight packages OUT the door and moving at a fast pace!

We’re grateful for the care and precision Amy brings to the final stage of every transaction.

Meet Lily, our Vice President of Event Planning.

Lily believes every great event starts with a good walk, great company, and a well-earned treat afterward. With a serious case of FOMO, she makes sure no gathering, conversation, or snack opportunity is ever missed.

You’ll often find her stationed behind the planning desk keeping an eye on the schedule, golden leash ready for the next outing and readers nearby — because every great planner needs to stay organized.

A special shout-out to Cathie, Lily’s human, for sharing her with the team and for raising such a dedicated event coordinator.
