Weeks Law Firm

We're proud to share that our founding attorney, Tresi Moore Weeks, has been named a Texas Super Lawyer for 2026. That's 8 years in a row, every year since 2019.

Super Lawyers selects the top 5% of attorneys in the state, based on peer nominations. Being chosen once is an honor. Being chosen eight years straight means the families you've helped keep telling other attorneys about you.

Tresi Weeks has spent that time helping families plan for the future, especially parents of children with special needs who need a plan that lasts beyond their own lifetime.

Congratulations, Tresi. Here's to 8 years of Leaving a Loving Legacy!

Last week Tresi Moore Weeks spoke on “Child Support Special Needs Trusts” at the UT CLE Special Needs Trust conference. Did you know that child support does not have to end at age 18 for a child with permanent disabilities? Child support can be ordered for the lifetime of the disabled child, BUT, support paid for an adult child with disabilities should be paid into a special needs trust so that the adult child does not lose eligibility for SSI and Medicaid.

Our founder, Tresi Weeks, has been invited to present at this year’s UTCLE Special Needs Trusts Conference — a statewide program for attorneys focused on advanced special needs and public-benefits planning.

Advocating for families with disabilities is a core part of our practice, and Tresi is honored to share what she has learned with other professionals across Texas.

Grateful to be part of a community working to better serve these families every day.

As we head into the holiday season—a time of giving, reflection, and family—it's worth remembering that some of the most meaningful gifts aren’t wrapped at all.

Some gifts are unwrapped… and deeply felt.
Estate planning is one of them.

This holiday season, give yourself the comfort of knowing everything is in order—and give your loved ones the gift of guidance, protection, and clarity when they’ll need it most.

🎁 A gift for you. A gift for them. A gift that lasts.
