The DS-160 must now be completed and submitted before you can register for an appointment, create an appointment profile, pay the visa fee, or schedule your interview.

Your DS-160 confirmation number must also match your appointment profile exactly.
This applies to visitors, students, workers, and family members applying as dependents.

Your flight information now reaches ICE. Here is what that actually means before your next trip.

A confirmed agreement between TSA and ICE shows passenger data is shared and cross-referenced, and it has already led to arrests connected to domestic flights.

What you need to carry depends on your specific situation, whether you hold a green card, a visa, or no lawful status.

Two things apply to everyone: you can opt out of facial recognition, and a license marked "Federal Limits Apply" will not get you through TSA anymore.

USCIS has extended the TPS reference dates several times this month for seven countries: Haiti, Syria, Burma, Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan and Yemen.

None of these dates is a final end date. They reflect where each case stands in court, and they have already changed more than once in July alone.

If your country is on this list, the safest approach is not to rely on social media or on someone else's situation. Every case depends on its own court process.

This year's regular H2B cap is already full. The supplemental visa window is still open, but only until September 15.
