Twenty years in, what has the Atlanta Beltline meant for the city's economy? Our new analysis for Atlanta Beltline, Inc. found that Beltline-related activity sustained more than 91,000 jobs and generated an estimated $23 billion in economic output for the City of Atlanta in 2025, with $14.2 billion in private investment catalyzed along the corridor since 2006.

2025 was a milestone year for Loyola University Chicago. The university attained R1 status, the highest research classification, with $51.6 million in research expenditures and more than 180 doctoral degrees conferred, joining a group of only 187 institutions nationwide.

ESI's economic impact study also looks ahead: a $250 million academic building at 1144 West Loyola Avenue, scheduled for completion in 2028, will expand Loyola's nursing program by a projected 25 percent and support programs in chemistry, biochemistry, and forensic science.

The Kansas City Chiefs have released updated projections for their new stadium in Wyandotte County, practice facility in Olathe, and the private development surrounding both.

The numbers: an estimated $8.2 billion in one-time economic impact during construction, 36,500 job-years of employment, and $1.5 billion in annual impact once the facilities open in 2031.

Commercial buildings account for one-fifth of the nation's energy use, and upgrading them takes capital that many owners struggle to access. Econsult Solutions is proud to have produced the economic impact analysis for the Kansas City Chiefs' $4.5 billion investment in Kansas—including a new $3 billion stadium in Wyandotte County, a $300 million headquarters and practice facility in Olathe, and $1.2 billion in surrounding development.

Our study found the project is expected to generate $8.2 billion in total economic impact for the greater Kansas City region during construction, supporting 36,500 job-years. And once the stadium opens in 2031, it's projected to bring more than one million visitors a year for games, concerts, and events, plus $1.5 billion in annual regional impact.

It's important to remember the founders didn't hand us a finished country; they handed us a framework, one that every generation since has shaped, expanded, and debated.
