Today we had the chance to meet Louise Thaxton, the heart behind the American Warrior Initiative. We told her how AWI changed us years ago — how it opened our eyes, strengthened our purpose, and ultimately inspired us to donate 22% of our compensation on every closing to veteran charities.
That commitment comes from a place of love and loss. The daily veteran su***de statistic is devastating, and our family has felt that pain firsthand. As military spouses, daughters, and granddaughters, we know the weight of service, the strain on families, and the sacrifices that often go unseen.
This is why we do what we do. This is why we give. And this is why we’ll keep showing up for the military community that has shaped our lives.
