Toured the model row at Red Fox Run in Sundance Ridge today — absolutely stunning homes. I tried to capture all the standout features, from the stone‑wall stairwell to the basement window‑well plants that completely stole the show. The whole space is wrapped in beautiful neutrals that make everything feel elevated and timeless.

Today we had the chance to meet Louise Thaxton, the heart behind the American Warrior Initiative. We told her how AWI changed us years ago — how it opened our eyes, strengthened our purpose, and ultimately inspired us to donate 22% of our compensation on every closing to veteran charities.

That commitment comes from a place of love and loss. The daily veteran su***de statistic is devastating, and our family has felt that pain firsthand. As military spouses, daughters, and granddaughters, we know the weight of service, the strain on families, and the sacrifices that often go unseen.

This is why we do what we do. This is why we give. And this is why we’ll keep showing up for the military community that has shaped our lives.

Some moments in real estate go far beyond a transaction — this was one of them.

Because of the sale of Jess and Patrick’s previous home and the purchase of their new one, $722 and $1,755 have now been donated to the service‑dog program at F.I.S.H. This organization is one of our favorite local charities, and the work they do for veterans is truly life‑changing.

When we mentioned the program, it immediately resonated with Jess — not just as a dog trainer and breeder, but as someone who understands the healing, grounding, and companionship a well‑trained dog can bring. Seeing that connection made this donation feel even more meaningful.

We’re humbled, grateful, and honestly a little in awe of how many hearts were touched through this journey. Big life changes, new beginnings, and a ripple effect of impact — all woven together in a way that felt guided and steady from start to finish.

Our hope is that this contribution helps towards a support animal to a veteran who needs one — and that the blessing continues long after the paperwork is done.
