We are hiring a Personal Injury Case Manager:

Our Personal Injury Law Firm is currently seeking pre-suit case managers. We are seeking someone with superior communication skills, unparalleled organizational abilities, and a self-starter attitude. Successful candidates will be responsible for handling pre-suit personal injury claims from inception. The position entails extensive contact with clients, insurers, and medical providers. Pay commensurate with experience.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00

Responsibilities:

· Maintain organized case files
· Request medical records and medical bills

· Request and negotiate medical provider bill reductions
· Request and negotiate health insurance liens

· Communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies

· Monitoring medical treatment and reporting to the attorney

· Obtain documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions
· Manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney
· Prepare comprehensive demand packages under the supervision of an attorney
· Ability to handle client intake

Requirements:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
At least 2-5 years of prior experience in the role of a pre-suit case manager, paralegal, or legal assistant in the personal injury field is required.
Experience with medical malpractice is preferred, but not required.
Excellent ability to read and write with specification, clarity, and accurateness of information; must have strong English and Spanish written language skills
Strong multitasking skills, highly organized, and detail-oriented
Able to excel in a fast-paced work environment, take direction and work with little supervision
Follow up skills, persistence
Able to manage a large caseload and comply with deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook and the ability to become proficient in firm technology programs
Smart Advocate case management experience is a plus
