Pickleball Paul! One coworker fulfilled the joint costume commitment, and another kindly provided her handmade pickleball paddle costume for use as a prop! 😂💁🏼‍♀️

This did not disappoint! Kaylee embodied Pickleball Paul, engaging in everyday activities, savoring Jolly Ranchers, opening mail, and receiving awards!

We are open for business and are taking necessary precautions. At this time we are doing our best to conduct almost all business over the phone, email, or video conference. We will meet in person if it is necessary. New motions and petitions can be filed at courthouse, but it is going to take sometime to get a court date due to the courthouse closures across the state. Only emergencies hearings and some limited criminal matters such as bond hearings are being heard by the courts.

In recent weeks there have been many conversations on Social Media about Dash and Body cams for officers in the field.
We at the Journal agree, for the safety of everyone involved that it is imperative for all forces to be equipped with this technology.
But the sad truth is not all departments have the funds to enable all officers this much needed equipment. Many Departments do not have Grant writers, therefore funds can be many cases limited.
We are doing a fundraiser under DASH for Pittsburg Co. Sheriff's Dept., together we can get the job done.
I spoke to Pittsburg County Sheriff Chris Morris, the approximate cost for 18 body and dash cams along with the system to run it will be close to $22,700.
As a community that has expressed that they want this technology for all area officers, this amount should be an easy goal to accomplish.
Please consider taking part in this endeavor to give a small portion back to those who do so much for our community.
The Journal is donating the first $200 to open the DASH account.
If every person donates $10 or more, then share this post with others who give $10 or more the goal will be accomplished rather quickly.
Ask yourselves is this a small price to pay for a safer county?
