This month, we’re proud to recognize our Legal Administrative Assistant, JaKeisia “Jay” Travis! 🎉

For nearly two years, Jay has been an invaluable part of our team, managing scheduling and organization while serving as a dedicated liaison for our clients.

Jay holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of West Georgia, where she was recognized as a 30 Under 30 alumna. She is currently completing her paralegal certification at Central Georgia Technical College, where her dedication to academic excellence and leadership has earned her the 2025 Foundation Award and the 2026 CGTC Presidential Scholarship for Excellence in Academic Achievement and Leadership Award.

We are incredibly grateful to have Jay on our team and appreciate the professionalism, dedication, and care she brings to serving our clients and members of our community. 💙

JUSTICE DELIVERED: NOT GUILTY ON ALL 12 FELONY COUNTS! ⚖️

“As to Count 1: Aggravated Assault — NOT GUILTY.”
That verdict was repeated eleven more times as the jury returned a NOT GUILTY verdict on every count of a 12-count felony indictment—6 counts of Aggravated Assault and 6 counts of Possession of a Fi***rm During the Commission of a Felony. The charges stemmed from an alleged drive-by shooting and carried a maximum potential sentence of 150 years
imprisonment.

For the past three years, her client maintained his innocence. This week, that unwavering position was vindicated in the courtroom. Attorney Seekie served as sole counsel, standing beside her client throughout the case and fighting for the justice he believed he deserved.
