Meet Sarah Barron, Law Clerk at McGovern Law Group. 🤝

Born and raised in San Diego, Sarah brings a unique combination of legal education, real estate experience, and a genuine love for working with people to the McGovern team.

After graduating summa cm laude from San Diego State University with a degree in Psychology, Sarah earned her law degree from California Western School of Law and is currently awaiting her California Bar Examination results.

She’s also been a licensed California real estate agent for five years, with additional experience in home renovations, property transactions, and mortgage lending, giving her a valuable perspective when it comes to the assets and property involved in estate planning.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find Sarah spending time with her dogs, Koda and Teddy, getting outside, or staying connected to the San Diego community she’s called home her entire life.

Estate planning is more than simply having a will.

If your assets aren’t titled correctly, your trust hasn’t been funded, or the right people don’t have authority to act for you, your loved ones may still be left dealing with unnecessary stress, delays, and confusion.

And while 35 is a great reminder, there’s no magic age to start planning. The goal is to have a plan before you need one.

The sooner everything is organized, the more control you have over what happens to your assets, your wishes, and the people you care about.

If you can’t check off everything on this list yet, it might be time to get your estate plan in order.
