Happy Tuesday! Here's our Real Estate Photography Tip of the Day: 📸
Why Nighttime and Twilight Shots Stand Out (And How to Nail the Blue Hour)
The Problem: Daytime exterior shots can sometimes look flat, especially under harsh midday sun. How do luxury listings get that warm, glowing, magazine-cover look? 🌅🏡
The Pro Fix:
1️⃣ Shoot During "Blue Hour": Arrive just before the sun sets and the interior lights of the home cast a warm glow against the vibrant twilight sky, or a dark nighttime sky.
2️⃣ Turn Everything On: Turn on every single light inside and outside the house (porch lights, landscape lights, pool lights, and garage lights) to create maximum contrast and warmth.
3️⃣ Shoot Using A Tripod: Since it’ll be darker out, your camera’s shutter speed will be very slow, so the camera will need to be still. Hand holding the camera will cause shaky, and blurry photos.
Why It Matters: Twilight photos stop scrollers in their tracks and instantly elevate the perceived value of a property online! ⭐✨
