PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

Real Estate Agents are required to pay MLS, brokerage, Realtor Association, lockbox access, Oklahoma real estate commission, renewal of licensure, signs, AND continuing education fees.

Most agents spend around $3000 every six months for Zillow or Realtor.com leads.

When a customer fills out a form on Zillow or Realtor.com, the realtor who calls to see if you would like more information about a property probably paid around $400 for that ONE lead.

I’m only taking a moment to expose the financial pressures placed on agents to run their businesses through brokerages.

Personally, is it worth it – yes, I love my job!!!

Oh my! That April CPI! Inflation surged on higher energy prices, which affect a lot more than just gasoline and jet fuel prices (airline tickets, fertilizer, etc.) So far the housing market is showing resilience, but there is little doubt that higher mortgage rates are keeping spring/summer transaction volumes muted.
