This is a great reminder. I hadn’t thought about the soap runoff going in the drains and causing issues. 🤔

Stormwater Tip of the Month!

- Wash your car at a car wash.

- Wash your car on the lawn or some impervious surface where it can soak into the ground.

- Use only nontoxic, phosphate free or biodegradable soap,

- Find a large grassy area to drive the car onto/drain water.

- Wring sponges and rags into a bucket not onto the ground.

- Use or create a car wash kit

💧 If you have an even address, your watering days are: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
💧 If you have an odd address, your watering days are: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday

No watering on Mondays! And be sure to water before ⏰ 🌞 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m.🕰️ 🌙

It’s county appraisal time!

If you own a home, you will likely get one of these in your mailbox this week. If you aren’t sure how accurate it is, or want to appeal, I am happy to run comps for you. Many times the values are more accurate than you want to believe (especially if you want lower taxes and have no desire to sell in the near future). However, there are times that they may not be accurate and it’s worth a look! I work in all these counties and am happy to discuss your options.
