According to injury trends, what does your motorcycle say about you? The data tells a story:

- Sportbike crashes are more likely to involve speed, urban/high traffic environments, and younger riders.
- Cruiser injuries skew towards the 40+ crowd and involve alcohol at higher rates.
- Touring and sport touring classes are seen most in more predictable traffic patterns and are favored by more experienced riders. Their accidents tend to involve fatigue or challenging road conditions.

This isn't to clown on any group of riders. Knowing the risks and trends based on your motorcycle can make you more aware of where riders with similar bikes and riding patterns go wrong. Head to RiderJustice.com to read the full post on What Your Motorcycle Says About You (According To Injury Trends).

Making you whole after an accident is about more than fixing your bike and the initial hospital visit. Those costs alone can be staggering, but the long-term impact on your quality of life is immeasurable. Scott and our team work with medical experts to fully document your injuries and fight for compensation that reflects the full cost of your recovery – as well as future care β€” not just the first ER visit.

Courtesy Moto is extremely unique. They are building a community, a collaborative space, a third space for motorcyclist, and a repair shop all under one historical roof in the Five Points neighborhood. It isn't a simple task, and we are honored to be able to support what Ana & Brooks are building. Be sure you are following Moto Co. and if you're curious, check out our episode of Chasing The Ride for all of the details about Courtesy Moto Co.

Michael has been photographing motorcycle culture around the world for 45 years, with more than 1,000 features published in motorcycle magazines and eleven books on the subject.

He is giving a free public presentation featuring his motorcycle photography and the stories behind the images this Friday, June 5, at the REVIT Denver headquarters in Denver, located at 2800 Walnut Street. The talk will coincide with the First Fridays RiNo Art Walk in the neighborhood.

The presentation will take place from 6:30–7:30 p.m., but Michael will be at REV’IT! for the full open house from 6:00–9:00 p.m. to chat with attendees and answer questions. He will also have 24 framed photographs on display, along with two of his custom bikes: his Billy Lane Harley-Davidson bobber and Sucker Punch Sally Harley-Davidson chopper.

REV’IT! will provide drinks and snacks, and the event is open to everyone.

Comment below what it costs to fill up your bike these days!

With gas prices skyrocketing, there's a silver lining: motorcycles are getting more miles in! Most bikes can get 2-3 times the miles per gallon as a 4-wheel vehicle. So, while we navigate these higher fuel costs, let's saddle up and enjoy the open road.
