**25 years. Countless relationships. One remarkable evening.**
On October 1, 2001, Higgins, Hopkins, McLain & Roswell opened its doors.
The idea for the firm began a few weeks earlier, when Dave Higgins, Steve Hopkins, Sheri Roswell, and David McLain gathered around a picnic table in Denver's Cheesman Park and decided to build a law firm together.
Twenty-five years later, we gathered at The Dome at AMG with current and former members of HHMR, clients, carriers, colleagues, friends, and family to celebrate everything that grew from that decision.
It was an evening of stories, laughter, gratitude, and reflection. We had the opportunity to recognize our founders, celebrate Sheri Roswell's remarkable 33-year legal career, and thank the many people who have shaped HHMR along the way.
But perhaps the most important reminder of the evening was that **a law firm is not built by its founders alone.**
It is built by the people who work there, the clients and carriers who place their trust in it, the colleagues and friends who support it, and the families who make it all possible.
We are enormously proud of our first 25 years, and even more excited about what comes next.
To everyone who has been part of HHMR's story, thank you.
