It's not that hard.

Follow me Ebony Lucas | Deeds, Trusts & Wealth and I'll show you how all of this is NOT possible, but you can own the properties and have a trust.

Well... That's what the photo looks like 🤣

But really, I witnessed what protected legacy looks like.

The street where Ye grew up was dedicated today to his mother, Dr. Donda West.

Her legacy lives in her writing, teaching, and hearts of those who celebrated her today.

The men who grew up around her talked about collecting rent. She owned homes they said. And they had never seen anything like that.

Ownership creates a memory that no one can forget.

Legacy holds the story of where everything began.

Thank you Che Kweku for including me in this monumental occasion.

Comment "LEGACY" to protect your family home and share with a friend who gets it.

Most business owners plan for growth—but never plan for the day they can’t work.

Your plan should answer:

1. How will you get paid when you retire?
2. Who has authority if you’re incapacitated?
3. Who can access the accounts and make payroll?
4. Who will run—or buy—the business?
5. What happens to the ownership, debt and guarantees when you die?

If your answer is, “My family will figure it out,” you’re not leaving them a business.

You’re leaving them a problem.

Send this to a business owner whose entire succession plan is “the kids will handle it.”

The Rich Dad Poor Dad author is $1.2 billion in debt, but he's not heading towards bankruptcy.

He used other people's money to purchase over 1500 properties. The properties are in separate LLCs structured so that he has no personal liability.

This is a wealth strategy. Use other people's money to buy assets, invest the funds that the asset makes, rinse, wash, and repeat. If one property fails he holds no liability.

As long as the cash flow is managed, the debt is in control.

Meanwhile, he makes $250,000 A MONTH selling his book.

Who said all debt is a bad thing?

What do you think about this?

REVOCABLE vs. IRREVOCABLE — the biggest difference is CONTROL.

There is no “best” trust for everyone. Your financial situation matters.

If Medicaid planning, long-term care costs, or certain creditor concerns are part of your risk picture, an irrevocable trust may provide stronger protection — but you have to understand what you’re giving up. You do not get to put assets in an irrevocable trust and continue controlling them as if nothing changed.

If you’re retiring with a pension, reliable health coverage, and your priority is maintaining control over your assets while avoiding probate, a revocable trust may make more sense.

The question isn’t: “Which trust is better?”

The question is: What are you trying to protect yourself from?

Comment TRUST if you want to know which structure may make sense for you.

Being a business owner carries stressful moments, but not being able to relax with family for a week, shouldn't be one of them.

People think of the death side of estate planning, but we forget about succession planning.

The type of estate planning that helps you LIVE!

And in case you're wondering, Martha's Vineyard was amazing! (And my business was still standing when I got back!)
