Jamie Majerus found her calling in a courtroom long before she ever stood in one as an attorney.
Summoned for jury duty on a child molestation case while she was in college, Jamie watched a prosecutor advocate for a survivor during trial. As she left the courthouse that day, she knew she wanted to do the same for others. Just a few weeks later, she signed up for the LSAT.
As she continued through law school, Jamie discovered she could pursue that same mission through the civil justice system, representing survivors of childhood sexual abuse. It was a path that allowed her to stand beside survivors, advocate on their behalf, and help them navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Today, at Gould Grieco & Hensley, Jamie represents survivors of childhood sexual abuse across California, guiding them through the civil legal process and fighting to hold institutions accountable for the systemic failures that allowed their abuse to occur. Throughout her career, she has secured multiple seven-figure settlements on behalf of survivors — meaningful outcomes that provide accountability, validate their experiences, and help them move forward.
For Jamie, every case is about more than the outcome. It's about helping survivors reclaim what was taken from them.
