Stories like this leave many people asking the same question:

How is that possible?

The truth is that marriage-based immigration cases are rarely as
simple as they appear from the outside. USCIS reviews the totality of the evidence,
timelines, interviews, and legal standards before making a decision.

What one person believes should have happened and
what immigration law ultimately allows can be very different.

It's critical to understand your rights and your legal options before taking action.

Every detail matters. Every case is unique.
If you're dealing with a complicated marriage-based immigration case,
VAWA issues, or any immigration matter involving a spouse or ex-spouse, contact our office today.

An experienced immigration attorney can help you understand your situation,
protect your interests, and determine the best path forward.

If you need help with a case like this, or an even more complex immigration situation, contact us today.

This is a real story that shows how immigration cases can take unexpected turns.
A couple got married, faced serious challenges, separated, and a VAWA case was filed.
At the time, it seemed like their relationship was over.

But months later, they reconciled, rebuilt trust, gained family support,
and decided to move forward together again.

Now, they are pursuing a marriage-based immigration path as a reunited couple.

Every immigration case is different. Changes in relationships,
family circumstances, and personal situations can create new legal options
that many people don't realize exist.

If you're dealing with a VAWA case, a marriage-based petition,
a reconciliation after separation, or any complicated immigration matter,
don't assume you have no options.

Every case is different, and the answers often depend on the specific facts,
timing, and immigration history involved.

If you're facing a complicated marriage-based immigration case,
questions about sponsorship obligations, divorce, or possible immigration fraud, contact our office today.

True Story: His wife left him just three days after he signed as her sponsor.
He believed he was building a future with the woman he loved.

They got married, filed for a Green Card, and went through
the immigration process together.
After receiving her conditional Green Card, they remained married for two more years.
When it was time for the next step, he signed the sponsorship
paperwork and she completed her biometrics appointment.

Just three days later, everything changed.

While he was caring for his mother during a medical emergency,
he came home to discover that his wife was moving out.
According to his account, she emptied their savings, left with a friend,
and shortly afterward asked for a divorce.

Stories like this leave many people wondering:

What happens when a marriage falls apart during the immigration process?
What responsibilities does a sponsor still have? What legal options are available?

Every case is different, and the answers often depend on the specific facts,
timing, and immigration history involved.

If you're facing a complicated marriage-based immigration case,
questions about sponsorship obligations, divorce, or possible immigration fraud, contact our office today.

🇲🇽 Good news for the Mexican community.

According to a recent Pew Research Center analysis,
65% of Mexican immigrants who received a Green Card in 2024
obtained permanent residency through Adjustment of Status (AOS),
a process that often allows eligible applicants to become permanent
residents without leaving the United States.

Since 2006, more than half of all Mexican Green Card recipients have used this pathway,
particularly those who qualify as immediate relatives of U.S. citizens.

Could you be eligible for permanent residency?
