We are hiring! Family Law Paralegal. Experience preferred but not required. Paralegal Certificate is a plus, but not required.

We have 3 fulltime Family Law Paralegals and are hiring a 4th. Be a part of the Team.

Requirements are a passion for Family Law but more so helping people. People getting divorced, fighting for custody. Our 5 Family Law lawyers are good, but we are not magicians. We are also not lone wolves, we need good paralegals to show us where to stand....kidding.....kind of.

We need strong, driven paralegals and would love to receive cover letter and resume.

Salary.
401k with 4% Er match after 180 days
100% Employer paid Premium for Single, family available at cost diff to Employee -- Health Vision and Dental after 60 days

From the Supreme Court opinion of the Day:

"During the traffic stop, a second officer used a drug detection dog to conduct a sniff around the exterior of the stopped
vehicle. In the course of the sniff around the exterior of the vehicle, the dog’s paws touched the passenger door, and the dog’s nose momentarily, almost imperceptibly, broke the plane of the passenger window." Imperceptibly --- love it. Dog's head went inside the car as the window was down.

Drug dog's nose briefly went inside the vehicle. SC said that does not violate the US or State constitutions. If you are asked to exit a vehicle for a drug dog walkaround, can you first put your windows up?

The other issue was whether the stop of the vehicle was valid. Dirty plate. SC said that it was not legible. That is a valid stop. Lesson: Clean your plates.

Welcome to Mansa! Mansanwalpreet Singh started with the firm September 30, 2024, having graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in May 2024. Mansa passed the Iowa Bar over the Summer and was sworn in last month. Making his office at our 200 2d Street Southeast location Mansa has begun a practice in Family Law and Criminal Defense, working with our Family Law Paralegal Cecily.

Previously Mansa graduated with Honors from the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law in Patiala, India (2021). Mansa practiced in India at the Punjab and Haryana High Court before attending the University of Iowa College of Law.

We are very happy to have him join us!
