Nidey Erdahl Meier & Araguás, PLC welcomes Allison C. Ackerman to the team as a new associate attorney.

Allison graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and political science in 2018. She graduated from Drake University Law School in 2021. She anticipates building a practice focused on family and juvenile law.

Originally from Pecatonica, Ill., Allison now resides in North Liberty. In her free time she enjoys kayaking and spending time with her full-grown cat Elle Woods and blind kitten Murdock Daredevil.

Last week Chris, Patty, and Gretchen were kind enough to deliver, to the Linn Community Food Bank in Cedar Rapids, 145 pounds of donations of food, toiletries, and monetary gifts from our offices! This holiday season, in a year that's been so difficult for so many, we were happy to do our small part in giving back to our community. Please consider making donations of food or toiletries to your local food bank!

Our firm has declared Election Day, November 3, 2020, a paid holiday for all staff. As such, our offices will be closed - both physically and virtually - to allow our staff and attorneys adequate time to vote and to volunteer at the polls.
