Fr. Michael Moroney, who retired in 2024 after 17 years as the pastor of St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, would like to share a health update with the parish. Doctors have discovered a mass on his pancreas and liver. Fr. Mike is in good spirits as his doctors determine the best course of treatment moving forward with his prognosis. Please join us as we lift him up in our prayers during this time.

We are excited to formally announce Judge Richard “Chip” Moore will be returning to seek re-election for his seat in Division N.

Judge Moore has been proud to serve as a judge for all of us in East Baton Rouge Parish since 2005.

A former prosecutor who practiced for 19 years prior to his first campaign for judge over 20 years ago, Judge Moore has served professionally and with distinction for all the citizens of our parish.

We hope you will join in supporting our campaign to re-elect Judge Moore. The election will be held this fall 2026.
