The Maples | Jones team spent the day at the Family Law Section All Day CLE gaining valuable insight into important and evolving issues in family law practice.

We appreciated the opportunity to learn more about alcohol monitoring, the role of the OAG in family law matters, updated summary judgment rules and deadlines, and the complexities surrounding family therapy and reunification therapy. We also enjoyed hearing directly from a judges’ panel on effectively litigating cases involving pro se litigants.

Continuing education is an important part of how we continue to grow, strengthen our practice, and better serve families in our community. Thank you to all of the presenters and organizers for an informative and impactful day!

The Team at Maples | Jones is always WINNING! 🙌We had a blast competing in the First Annual 🌮 Taco de Mayo Cook-Off hosted by Bollier Ciccone Stinson LLP, Amini & Conant LLP, and Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas (VLS). The event raised more than $45,067.73 benefitting the much deserved VLS. This is the first of many fun taco competitions!

Maria, Cameron, Meagan, and Nikki had a great time playing bingo and cheering on a cause that truly matters to our legal community. This event has awarded nearly $75,000.00 in scholarships in past years. A great organization, a great cause, and an even better group of people — we couldn't be more excited to be a part of it!

A small $100 contribution each month helps Stacy Johnson and her team at Central Texas Table of Grace do the important work needed to provide a safe place for children in moments of crisis. Just think about the difference our community could make if we all donated a small sum of money each month.
