A past conviction doesn’t have to cost you your career. ⚖️

After an experienced real estate agent faced potential license revocation over a nonviolent felony unrelated to his real estate practice, J.R. retained Bertolino LLP to defend his license. The firm took the case to a final hearing, presented a strong defense, and persuaded the Administrative Law Judge to recommend that J.R. retain his license.

The firm then filed Exceptions challenging the proposed sanction, and the Commission did not oppose the arguments. J.R. was able to protect his professional license and livelihood.
