OBJECTIVES:
The objectives of
the Centre includes:
* To promote respect and observance of human rights, justice and democracy;
* To promote respect, peace & tolerance;
* To promote respect and observance of the rule of law and due processes;
* To create networks with public interest and human rights organisations, non-governmental organisations, universities, relevant research institutions, religious associations and legal associations & societies;
* To promote public awareness about Human Rights & their fundamental human rights as described in Constitution of Pakistan 1973;
* To provide (on request) consultancy services to non-governmental organizations provided that it is within the spirit of the social and educational objectives of the CJHR;
* To organize and sponsor conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings and such other undertakings with a view to promoting the social and educational objectives of the CJHR;
* To publish articles and various publications on legal education, society and human rights.
* To provide a forum to the students for the exchange of ideas through scholarly publications, public conferences, seminars, and workshops.
