Quota Decree 2021
According to the new decree that has been announce by the Italian government workers are allowed to enter Italy to be employed in construction sectors, tourism, transportation as follows:
17.000 workers from: Albania, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia-Erzegovina, Corea (Repubblica di Corea), Costa d’Avorio, Egitto, El Salvador, Etiopia, Filippine, Gambia, Ghana, Giappone, Guatemala, India, Kosovo, Mali, Marocco, Mauritius, Moldova, Montenegro, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Repubblica di Macedonia del Nord, Senegal, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tunisia, Ucraina.
3,000 subordinate workers who are citizens of countries with which cooperation agreements on migration will come into force in the year 2022
100 non-EU foreign nationals residing abroad, who have completed training and education programs in their countries of origin in accordance to Article 23 of the legislative decree of the immigration law
100 workers of Italian origin of which at least one of the parents is a third-degree descendant in direct line of ancestry, residing in Venezuela.
It will be possible to CONVERT to a subordinate work permit
4,400 residence permits issued for seasonal work;
2.00 residence permits issued for study, internship and / or professional training
200 EU residence permits for long-term residents issued by other member states of the European Union
It will be possible to CONVERT to a self-employed permit
370 residence permits issued for study, internship and / or professional training
30 EU residence permits for long-term residents issued by other member states of the European Union
500 non-EU citizens residing abroad, belonging to the following categories:
A) Entrepreneurs who intend to implement an investment plan of not less than € 500,000.00
B) holders of administrative rolls provided for by the Ministerial decree of 11 May 2011, no. 850;
C) famous artists and well-known professional qualification, hired by public or private bodies, in the presence of the requirements expressly provided for by the inter-ministerial decree of 11 May 2011, n. 850
D) foreign citizens who intend to set up "innovative start-up" company
42,000 units are admitted in Italy for seasonal subordinate work in the agricultural and tourism-hotel sectors.
