The Court of Appeal judgment emphasised the need for supervision – ‘ I have explained. It is not unlawful for an unauthorised person to act for and on behalf of an authorised individual so as to conduct litigation under their supervision, provided the authorised individual puts in place appropriate arrangements for the supervision of and delegation to the unauthorised person’
On 12th June 2026 the SRA published updated Supervision Guidance - SRA | Effective supervision | Solicitors Regulation Authority
This will be the main focus of the webinar

• Who supervises who? And for what?
• What happens if my supervision arrangements are not ‘appropriate’.
• Recording instructions
• Managing Simple matters
• Managing Complex matters
• Drafting an effective litigation policy
