We are absolutely overjoyed to announce that our Director, Connie Pratt, is a finalist for Young Achiever of the Year at the Personal Injury Awards 2025. This is testament to Connie’s hard work, passion and determination to get the best outcome for her seriously injured clients.

Connie specialises in catastrophic injury claims and has helped to secure over £16 million in compensation since January 2024. Anyone who knows Connie knows that she never seeks the spotlight but instead is always quietly working behind the scenes day and night to get her clients the justice they deserve. Her commitment not only to her clients, but to her firm, is unwavering.

Connie’s track record, which is both varied and impressive, includes working closely with core participants in the Government’s Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) regarding former Leicester MP Lord Janner and recently making landmark history in the RCJ.

It is therefore no surprise that Connie was recently appointed as a Director, making her one of the youngest ever directors of a UK law firm.

Meet our fantastic fundraisers! 🤩 Nicola and Millie from our Leicester office have cycled, hiked and kayaked 250km across Costa Rica and raised £1120 for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Headway. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Katie from our Derby office donned her running shoes to take on the London Marathon, raising £3817 for Headway Derby. All in all, that’s almost £5000 raised for local charities working to improve life after brain injury 🧠 Well done Nicola, Millie and Katie – now for some well-deserved rest!

Nicola is a keen fundraiser and has raised tens of thousands of pounds over the past decade for charities not only locally, but nationally too. Within her role as a catastrophic injury solicitor at Affinity Law, Nicola sees firsthand, day in day out the devastating consequences of serious injuries such as brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.
